Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have announced two additional long-haul destinations from Seattle: Osaka, Japan, planned for May 14, 2027, and Papeete in French Polynesia, planned for June 11, 2027. The published schedules call for four weekly Osaka flights and three weekly Papeete flights, initially operated with Hawaiian Airbus A330 aircraft.

These are future routes, so confirm launch dates, schedules and ticket availability directly with the airlines before booking. Travelers connecting through Seattle should leave enough time between flights and arrange their airport pickup around their final confirmed arrival time.
